Steven Choummalaithong

A member of the Glitter Goddess Artist Collective and the Haus of Glitter Dance Co. Steven “Crane” Choummalaithong (He/Him/His) specializes in dance, movement, and meditation practices in the Rhode Island area. Received training from international artists in yogic practices and several movement styles such as West African dance, Contact Improv, Hip-hop & Funk fundamentals, Contemporary, Butoh, Vogue, etc. Received mentor ship in dance education and dance performance ethics with New Works/World Traditions dance company, founded by Michelle B-Coulibaly, in the Department of Theater Arts & Performance at Brown University. Steven teaches, mentors, and choreographs original choreography with students at the Trinity Academy for the Performing Arts as a guest artist and studies yogic practices with the Bhavana Yoga School.
